M-Bone Murder Investigation Stalled by Lack of Witnesses‏

M Bone

Six weeks after the tragic murder of Cali Swag District rapper M-Bone ago, justice remains elusive. The Inglewood Police Department still have no suspect or motive in the shooting, which took place in front of a liquor store in Inglewood. In a new interview, Lieutenant Oscar Serrano of the Inglewood Police Department, who is working the case, said a lack of cooperative witnesses was to blame.

"When witnesses don't want to come out and talk, that's a challenge," he said in an interview with Time Magazine. "It's proven to be a challenge in these types of shootings, and it's a challenge right now."

Serrano said the IPD continues to look for leads in the M-Bone, born Monte' Ray Talbert, case. The police so far haven't been able to identify a reason for the slaying. Those close to Talbert blame rampant, unchecked violence in Inglewood for his death.

"The violence is crazy here," said Cory "Smoove" Fowler, a fellow Cali Swag District member. "The area speaks for itself."

Cali Swag District, who found national fame with their viral dance smash "Teach Me How to Dougie," paid respect to their fallen brother during a special tribute at the 2011 BET Awards this past weekend.

Amber Rose Addresses Nude Photos...

"By now, we’re pretty sure you got a full load of Amber Rose’s uncensored nude flicks. The Taylor Gang’s first lady took to her Twitter and allowed let her fingers do the playing talking on the matter." - Big Homie

No matter what I go thru or how embarrassed I am I have a man that Loves me & has my back thru everything. @RealWizKhalifa thank u. :- ) I was gonna wait until my radio show to address this but I want to say this now.
I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately.
Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer.
I’m really hurt & embarr#!@%*#ed because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself. The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it. I know I’m not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private.
I’m sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down. Pls understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn’t deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this to shallp#!@%*#. Thank u for all of ur support.

'To Catch a Predator' Host Caught in Cheating Sting

Chris Hansen, the NBC anchor famous for snagging Internet pedophiles on the show 'To Catch a Predator' has found himself in the center of an ironic scandal, The London Daily Mail reports.
Hansen, 51 has allegedly been having an affair with Kristyn Caddell, a 30-year-old TV reporter from Florida.
Hansen was caught in a sting organized by the National Enquirer as he was having a romantic dinner with Caddell at the Ritz-Carlton in Palm Beach.
After dinner, the pair then drove to her apartment where they were seen leaving together the next morning.
A source told the tabloid that Caddell is a former intern at NBC and "there was an immediate physical attraction between them" when they met.
Hansen lives with his wife Mary, 53, in Connecticut, but reportedly has been spending time in Florida on a disappearance investigation.

Google Unleashes First Wave of Google+ Invites

Google+, the search giant’s answer to Facebook, is currently in a “limited field test.” However, it looks like Google has opened the floodgates to the masses.
The Google+ project is the company’s social initiative that brings friend streams, group video chat and group texting to Google’s millions of users. Check out our review of Google+ if you want to learn more.
For the last few days, Google+ invites have not been available to the public, but apparently Google is prepared to test the service with a larger group. Google+ users will find a button that allows them to invite their friends on the Google+ Stream page. Invites are also available if a Google+ user shares content with a non-user via email.
Google+ invites are in high demand. I sent just one tweet and posted one update on Facebook, and I have received over 100 requests for invites. Request for Google+ invites are flooding Twitter.
Are you on Google +? Have you gotten a Google+ invite yet? Let us know what you think of Google’s social service in the comments.

MySpace Sold to Ad Network for $35 Million

The day that the web has been buzzing about has finally come: MySpace has been sold, to an advertising network called Specific Media for a mere $35 million.
CEO Mike Jones will be leaving the company, and it seems that so will a good portion of the staff.
Says Jones in an email: “In conjunction with the deal, we are conducting a series of restructuring initiatives, including a significant reduction in our workforce. I will assist Specific with the transition over the next two months before departing my role as MySpace CEO.”

News Corp. declared it was ready to sell MySpace in an earnings call in February. The media company was reportedly hoping to get $100 million out of the sale.
In 2005, News Corp. bought the site for $580 million from its original owners, but MySpace’s traffic has plummeted in recent years. All Things Digital reported that News Corp. will still hold a 5% to 10% stake in the company.
Other reports this week indicated that close to 50% of the site’s staff could be cut after the sale, and it’s likely that any further iterations of the service will focus on music.

PayPal Predicts The End of the Wallet By 2015

PayPal has just hit a new milestone: the payments platform has more than 100 million active accounts.
The news, announced by PayPal President Scott Thompson, also comes with a bold prediction: that by 2015, the wallet will become a thing of the past.
“As the trend toward digital currency continues to gain momentum, we are focused on delivering solutions that are not just new and different, but better than what is currently the norm today,” Thompson said in a blog post.
“We believe that by 2015 digital currency will be accepted everywhere in the U.S. – from your local corner store to Walmart. We will no longer need to carry a wallet.”
To back his assertion, PayPal is launching a new campaign that will challenge five Bay area residents to only use digital currency to pay for all of their purchases — no cash allowed. It’s an intriguing campaign that could become a good marketing cool for the company.
PayPal has been on a tear in recent years, generating more and more of eBay’s total net revenues and profits. The company is expected to facilitate more than $3 billion in mobile transactions this year alone.

The payments company faces some powerful challengers, though. Google recently unveiled its mobile payment solution, Google Wallet, to the world. PayPal has sued the search giant, accusing two of PayPal’s former executives (now with Google) of stealing and sharing trade secrets.

Tom Hanks Says "Toy Story 4" Is Happening

It’s no secret that Toy Story 3 was among the best films released last year, and, along with its high critical praise, the movie also raked in over $1 billion worldwide. Now, Tom Hanks is telling the BBC that Toy Story 4 is indeed being worked on—of course.

Even though Toy Story 3 wrapped up the successful trilogy with a neat little bow and sent viewers home with a sense of closure, the bean-counters in Hollywood feel that it’s necessary to revisit the franchise in hopes of collecting more green. There's no release date yet, but with Cars 2 currently pulling in dough, along with sequels to Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles in the works, Pixar isn't about stop revisiting old franchises any time soon.

Fans of Toy Story don’t have to wait long to see their computer generated plastic companions return, though, since a new short film starring the classic characters, titled Hawaiian Vacation, is currently playing before Cars 2.

Top 10 Companies Hiring This Week!

June 27 - July 4

We know that your job search can get quite frustrating these days, with more people trying to find a job and fewer employment opportunities.
To ease the burden, we've tracked down 10 top companies that are hiring this week -- from sales jobs to finance jobs, full-time jobs to part-time jobs. We hope you find a job that's perfect for you.
Good luck job hunting!

01. The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group

The Dr. Pepper Snapple Group (DPSG) manufactures, markets and distributes over 50 brands of carbonated drinks, juices and other beverages to the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. In addition to their popular sodas, the company also produces Mr. & Mrs. T's Mixers, Rose's Lime Juice, and Yoo-hoo.
The company was established in its present form in 2008, when it was spun off from Cadbury Schweppes American Beverages. As of last year, the company had 19,000 employees and $6 billion in annual revenues. With 24 manufacturing centers and more than 200 distribution facilities, DPSG has a host of locations, which could be in need of new hires.
In March, the company signed a multi-year agreement with fast-food chain Popeye's to add Dr. Pepper and Hawaiian Punch to the fountains at more than 700 Popeye's locations.
Employee Review: "The company is profitable and the future for flavored beverages is great. If you work in R&D, sales, and/or marketing, this is a great place to work...."*

02. Siemens

Earlier this month, the company announced that it is looking to hire more than 3,000 employees over the next few months. A good number of these positions will be aimed at recent college graduates. The company has developed a fast-track development program to quickly train grads for leadership positions.
Siemens AG is a leading provider of electrical engineering and electronics services to the healthcare, energy and manufacturing industries. Siemens currently employs roughly 405,000 workers in 190 countries, 60,000 of whom work in the company's offices in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.
In March, the company announced plans to invest $135 million to build a plant in Charlotte, N.C., that would manufacture large-scale gas turbines. The plant is expected to create 825 engineering and manufacturing jobs over the next five years, at an average annual wage of $64,000.
Employee Review: "The company's stability is extremely high, even in tough economic times recently, they have had extremely few layoffs. The company encourages the continuing training and education of its employees."*

03. Cracker Barrel

The company opened their first location in September 1969 in Lebanon, Tenn. Founder Dan Evins, an oil man by trade, had noticed that as the nation's interstate highway system had started to blossom, so did a plethora of fast-food eating establishments scattered along major thoroughfares.
What occurred to Evins was the lack of sit-down establishments available to weary travelers. This gave him the idea of creating a special kind of rest stop. His original model was for a combined gas station/country-themed restaurant. After the oil crisis of the 1970s, Evins decided that he no longer wanted to be in the oil business, which is why Cracker Barrel locations no longer sell gas.
In edition to the country-themed kitchen, Cracker Barrel stores are known for their trading-post style Old Country Stores, which are designed to stock "unique gift" items as well as hard to resist "self-indulgences."
Employee Review: "The managers in my store were really friendly and nice people. It was a steady job and good hours, as long as you did your work..."*

04. Lowe's

Founded in 1946, the company has grown to become the second largest home improvement retailer in the world. Currently ranked 49th on the Forbes 500, Lowe's operates 1,725 stores across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Lowes stores stock some 40,000 items across 20 categories including lumber, appliances, paint and flooring. Additionally, the company is able to source hundreds of thousands of other products via special order.
The company had initially projected opening between 25 and 30 stores this year but has scaled back its plans to 25. This news comes as part of the company's decision to buy back $18 billion dollars worth of their own stock.
While its plans for fewer new stores might concern those looking for a job, the company still has a significant number of openings, and for those employees with company stock options, it's nice to see an organization interested in preserving value for its shareholders.
Employee Review: "The pay and benefits are good compared to other similar retail jobs. You can learn new skills since you get trained to work in many departments."*

05. ADT

ADT originally was founded as the American District Telegraph company in 1874. Over time the company evolved from delivering messages by telegraph, to providing home security services. The company now provides both residential and commercial service to roughly 230 major U.S. markets.
Last year the company released ADT Pulse, which allows homeowners to manage their security system, as well as regulate thermostat and lighting levels in their home, via smartphone app.
The product has become the focus of a major marketing push for the company. According to CEpro.com, the company has invested more money in promoting remote home security, since the product's launch, than the rest of the entire industry has in the last 25 years!
In April, the company added a high-profile client when ADT became the official security provider at Boston's Fenway Park. The deal features IP-based cameras placed throughout the park to protect Red Sox fans, stadium employees and team members.
Employee Review: "I feel good about a job that helps protect people and property. The 401(k) is really good with a full match up to 5 percent of income. We provide great, cutting edge technology for customers."*
